Rays — 2008 ALCS · Game 7
The 2008 Rays were a 31-win improvement over the year before — the biggest single-season turnaround in baseball history at the time. They made the World Series in just their second winning season. Game 7 of the ALCS against the Red Sox was the night it all came together: the Rays winning the pennant for the first time, in their first-ever ALCS Game 7.
